Since the establishment of Sik Sik Yuen Emergency Fund in 2009, the organization has been providing prompt aids and assistance to persons who in great need of urgent relief. With the benevolent aim of helping distressed and desperated persons, Sik Sik Yuen Emergency Fund gives financial support with care and encouragement to relieve persons from difficult situation, and ensure a brighter living for the beneficiaries.

In order to further implement the charity work of Sik Sik Yuen according to the aim of "to Act Benevolently and to Teach Benevolence", our Yuen has re-defined the range of services and coverage we provided to the community, beneficiaries and recipients of our social services. We provide Wong Wan Tin Benevloence Fund as welfare needs evolved and renamed as “Sik Sik Yuen Emergency Fund” aims to provide timely and appropriate assistance to people from poor families who are suffering from adversities and victims from disasters or emergency operations, the relief items are including:

Fund Items Support
Sik Sik Yuen Emergency Relief Helps and Funds are provided to the victims of natural disasters,
accidents or other misfortunes.
Sik Sik Yuen Rehabilitation Support for the disabilities Elders who have urgent need but do not have the means to access necessary medical equipment; or/ and disabled persons who have urgent need but do not have the means to install facilities for rehabilitation at home.
Sik Sik Yuen Emergency Fund for Distressed Students Economic Relief are provided to students and their household who are suffering from misfortune and hardship.
Emergency Fund for the members of Sik Sik Yuen Homes for Elderly Economic support for the members of Sik Sik Yuen Homes for Elderly and Centres for Senior Citizens who in need of urgent relief.
Sik Sik Yuen Funeral Support Funeral Supports are provided to deceased members of Sik Sik Yuen Elderly Homes who lived alone and without personal assets.

The referral organization will be informed about the result of above application of relief item within 3 days as possible after fully collected all required documents. However, the beneficiaries will be informed for fund collecting in 7 days after submitted all required documents.
