Rules & Regulations
A Note for Visitors
1. Wong Tai Sin Temple is a sacred place for worshipping. Visitors of the Temple should:
Avoid doing anything disrespectful to the religion
Keep your voice down and do not play games or yell
Not gamble
   
2. Visitors should help to keep the Temple an ideal place for worshipping and sight-seeing. All visitors should:
Help to keep the Temple clean
Not destroy and property in the premises
Keep the air fresh by avoiding to burn incense paper, candles and excessive amount of joss sticks
Not bring in oil
Not bring pets
Not free any animal into the pond
Not feed fishes and turtles in the pond
   
3. For public order and safety, visitors should:
Not enter any restricted area
Beware of pickpockets
Take care of children and the elderly
Hold your lighted joss sticks up and avoid injury to others
   
4. Sik Sik Yuen is a charitable organisation and your donations are vital to the maintenance and expansion of our services. Kindly make your contributions by dropping money into our donation boxes, or you may give your donations to our General Office and an official receipt will be issued.
   
5. It is our compliment to serve you. Please do not tip our staff.
   
6. If your have any comments about the Temple, please come to our General Office. Your any comments are precious to us and we shall make improvement.

Inclement Weather Arrangement
1. Typhoon signal No.8 or above: The Yuen will be closed. If the signal is cancelled after 2pm, the Yuen will be remain closed until the next day.
   
2. Black rainstorm warning:
If the warning is issued before 7am, the Yuen will be closed until the warning is cancelled.
If the warning is issued during the opening hours, the Yuen will be closed.
If the warning is cancelled after 2pm, the Yuen will be remain closed until the next day.
